Malek Designers & Consultants, is an independent consulting firm practicing exclusively in the field of commercial facilities’ planning, that includes concept and back of the house architectural planning and requirements, foodservice and laundry facilities’ planning as well as detailed equipment specifications. The firm has two main offices. One is located in New York, USA and the other is located in Cairo, Egypt. The owner of the firm is the first to become a Professional FCSI Consultant in Egypt and the Middle East. (FCSI – Foodservice Consultants Society International and it’s the only such consulting society in the world). Malek Designers & Consultants – also known as Malek Associates - is considered the most experienced foodservice designing and consulting firm in Egypt and the Middle East.

Architectural and Kitchen back of house and front of house planning can be developed on any scope necessary, whether to create an entirely new facility or integrate new equipment into an existing operation. Once a plan is in place, we specify all equipment and offer you the opportunity to try them out in our test kitchen before committing to their purchase. Through project management, phases of construction and installation of equipment are overseen and coordinated, to deliver a turnkey kitchen development service.
Malek Designers & Consultants utilizes state-of- the-art computer-aided- design systems to develop working drawings such as detailed equipment layouts and schedules, elevations, and plumbing and electrical rough-in plans. Bulk food preparation, storage, labor saving, waste reduction goals and most importantly, proper “flow” are all given due consideration. Specification books of selected equipment are also provided. Equipment selection is based upon achieving value and choosing the best piece if equipment within the appropriate price range for our client.
